Adaptable Green Leaf Veggie – Grow fresh greens for a longer growing season with these heirloom vegetable seeds. Perpetual Spinach is a type of Swiss Chard (Leaf Beet) that tastes and looks just like spinach, but is relatively frost and heat-tolerant and can be grown outdoors in most climates. In mild climates, it can be grown year-round; in colder climates, it can be grown from spring through fall. In hot climates, it can be grown in cool weather, from fall to winter.
Easy to Grow Plants – Perpetual Spinach plants can reach 18-24 inches, with a 12-18 inch spread. In USDA Zones 2-11, start seeds indoors at a depth of 1/2″ at 70-80° F for optimal germination, usually in 7-14 days. Transplant to an outdoor spot when seedlings reach 6-8″ tall. Harvest as desired, leaving the inner leaves for a continuous harvest. Plants will reach full size in 50-60 days. Each seed packet contains approximately 67 to 79 seeds.
Sustainable Living – Vegetable gardening is an essential foundation of a more self-sufficient lifestyle. Homegrown fruits and vegetables are generally more flavorful and nutritious than store-bought. Perpetual spinach is a valuable addition to the homestead, giving an ongoing harvest of green leaves that can be enjoyed fresh nearly year-round. It can also be canned or frozen for long-term storage.
The Info You Need to Grow – These non-perishable seeds are packed in a beautiful paper packet with instructions for successful growing and germination in your home garden. Each package also has instructions for saving seeds after harvest. Getting started is simple for both beginner and experienced gardeners.
Small American Family-Owned Business – We’re committed to always providing fresh, high-quality seeds for you to plant now or to store for future growing seasons. We pledge to sell only safe, non-hybrid non-GMO heirloom seeds that are always open-pollinated, untreated, and tested to ensure the best germination rates. They will remain viable for years if stored properly in a cool dry location.
